KMAT 2026 Session 1 Registration Open: Exam Jan 25, Apply by Jan 15

The Commissioner for Entrance Exam (CEE) Kerala has opened registration for the KMAT 2026 Session 1 exam. Candidates seeking admission to MBA programs must submit applications by January 15, 2026 . The Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 Session 1 exam is scheduled for January 25, 2026 .

Application Process

Prospective candidates can apply online through the official CEE Kerala website. The direct application portal is cee.kerala.gov.in/kmatonline2026. Applicants must complete the process before the January 15 deadline.

The KMAT 2026 application fee for general category candidates is Rs 1,000 . Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates pay a reduced fee of Rs 500 .

Eligibility Criteria

KMAT 2026 eligibility requirements include specific nationality and academic qualifications. There is no age restriction for applicants.

• Nationality and Nativity: Indian and non-Indian citizens can apply. However, only Keralite candidates are eligible for reservation benefits or fee concessions.
• Age: There is no upper or lower age limit to appear for KMAT 2026.
• Academic Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years duration. This degree can be in Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or an equivalent field. Students in their final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Qualifying Marks

To qualify for MBA admission, candidates must secure minimum scores on the KMAT 2026 exam. The total marks for the exam are 720.

• General category and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates must score 72 marks or above . This represents 10% of the total marks.
• Other category candidates require 54 marks or above to qualify. This is 7.5% of the total marks.

KMAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The KMAT 2026 paper features 180 questions across four sections, totaling 720 marks. The marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
