MUMBAI – The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has opened choice filling for Maharashtra NEET PG Round 2 counselling. A total of 2,638 MD and MS seats are available. Candidates on the state merit list must submit their preferences online by December 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm .
The CET Cell announced the Round 2 and 3 counselling schedule along with the final seat matrix. Of the total vacancies, 1,952 seats are open for direct counselling. An additional 686 seats are listed as virtual vacancies across 48 medical colleges. These virtual seats will become available in future rounds if initially allotted candidates opt for seat upgradation.

Seat Allotment and Reporting
The Maharashtra NEET PG Round 2 seat allotment result will be published on December 26, 2024 . Candidates allotted seats must complete fee payment and physically report to their assigned medical college. This process must occur between December 27 and December 30, 2024 .
Round 3 Counselling
Candidates wishing to participate in Maharashtra CAP Round 3 of NEET PG counselling will be eligible to register. Applicants who have already applied for Round 2 are not required to resubmit their application for Round 3.
