Class 12 Student Dies, 3 Injured in Ballia Motorcycle Crash

BALLIA, Uttar Pradesh – A Class 12 student died and three individuals sustained injuries in a head-on motorcycle collision in Ballia’s Rasra Kotwali area on Monday. Police confirmed the accident occurred near Singhi Chatti on the Rasra-Nagra road.

Incident Details

Saksham Singh, 18, from Tadibada village, was returning home. He had just completed a Class 12 pre-board examination. Two friends, Adarsh Singh and Anurag Singh, accompanied him on their motorcycle. Their vehicle collided with another motorcycle. The second motorcycle traveled from the Nagra side.

Police identified the rider of the second motorcycle as Pawan Kumar, 16. Kumar is a resident of Malikchak village in Ghazipur district. Kotwali in-charge Yogendra Bahadur Singh provided these details.

Victims and Injuries

All four individuals involved in the collision were injured. Emergency services transported them to Rasra hospital. Doctors there pronounced Saksham Singh dead upon arrival.

Pawan Kumar sustained serious injuries. Medical staff referred him to the district hospital for further treatment. The condition of the other injured individuals is stable, according to police reports. Authorities sent Saksham Singh’s body for post-mortem examination.
