A total of 60,759 candidates, who successfully paid the application fee, are included in the Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Round 3 merit list. Following the allotment, candidates will be able to access the Round 3 seat allotment result PDF directly on the official CET Cell website,medicalug2025.mahacet.org.

Counselling Adjustments and Fraud Concerns

The Maharashtra NEET UG counselling process experienced an earlier postponement. This delay was necessary due to two primary reasons: the discovery of forged documents submitted by certain applicants, and the subsequent addition of new MBBS seats approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). These changes necessitated a revised schedule to ensure fairness and accuracy in the allocation process.

During the earlier stages, the State Cell took action against 152 MBBS aspirants. These individuals had reportedly uploaded fake or invalid documents. Their objective was to illicitly claim eligibility and secure a seat in Maharashtra UG Counselling 2025 Round 3. The CET Cell had issued notices to these candidates to address the fraudulent submissions. Only candidates who were not allotted seats in Round 2 were permitted to participate in these further rounds of counselling.

Mandatory Post-Allotment Procedures

Candidates successfully allotted a seat in Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Round 3 must adhere to strict post-allotment procedures. They are required to report to their assigned medical or dental college within the specified timeframe. At the college, candidates must complete and submit a status retention form. Furthermore, all original academic and personal documents must be verified and submitted, alongside the payment of the stipulated admission fees, to confirm their MBBS or BDS admission.

It is crucial for candidates to understand the finality of Round 3 allocations. Joining the allotted seat in CAP Round-3 is mandatory for those who wish to secure admission. Candidates who receive an allotment in the Mah NEET 2025 Round-3 will be excluded from any consideration in subsequent counselling rounds. This exclusion applies irrespective of whether they choose to join the allotted seat or not, making the Round 3 decision binding.

The official Maharashtra CET Cell notice also highlighted a potential increase in available seats. This increase could occur if candidates who were previously allotted seats through the All India Quota (AIQ) cancel their admissions for Round 3. Candidates were advised to consider this possibility carefully when submitting their choice filling preferences, as it could impact seat availability.
