About This Scholarship

The Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement Scholarship for Socially and Economically Backwards Category (SEBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Students, Maharashtra 2025-26, is an initiative of the Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Maharashtra. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to eligible SEBC and EWS students, covering up to 100% of their course fees.

Specifically, candidates with a total family income between ₹2,50,000 and ₹8,00,000 will receive an 80% reimbursement of their private/government institute course fee. Candidates with a total family income of ₹2,50,000 or less will receive a 100% reimbursement of their private/government institute course fee.

The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2026. Selection of candidates will be based on the fulfillment of the detailed eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be an Indian citizen
• be a domicile of Maharashtra
• belong to the Socially and Economically Backwards Class (SEBC) and the Open category (Economically Weaker Section • EWS)
• have been admitted through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) or Private ITIs
• have been admitted through the Central Online Admission Process
• have been admitted to a course approved by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), New Delhi or the Maharashtra State Council for Vocational Training (MSCVT)
• not have availed of any benefit for a course previously from a Government or Private ITI
• not have availed any benefit from training programs sponsored by the State/Central Government/Department/Local Body/Company or Corporation
• have an annual family income of more than ₹2,50,000 but less than or equal to ₹8,00,000

Required Documents

The following documents are required for the application:
• Aadhaar card
• Ration card
• Marksheet SSC/HSC
• Domicile certificate
• Income certificate issued by a competent authority
• Previous year's marksheet (if applying for renewal)

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
1. Visit the official scholarship portal (mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in) and locate the application section.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using your Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
3. Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Fill in all required details, verify your email and phone number, enter the captcha, and click on the 'Register' button.
5. After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Log in using your username and password.
7. Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit your application.
