About This Scholarship

Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement for OBC, SEBC, VJNT & SBC Students, Maharashtra 2025-26 is a significant opportunity offered by the OBC, SEBC, VJNT & SBC Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra. This initiative aims to support students from minority categories within the state.

Selected candidates will receive a scholarship covering 80% of their tuition fees at a private institute. This financial assistance is inclusive, being available to both students who have successfully passed their SSC (Secondary School Certificate) exams and those who have not.

The application deadline for this valuable scholarship is March 31, 2026. Selection of candidates will be based on the thorough fulfilment of all established eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must fulfill the following conditions:

• Be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• Belong to one of the specified categories: Other Backwards Classes (OBC), Socially and Economically Backwards Classes (SEBC), Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT), or Special Backwards Category (SBC).
• Have been admitted to a course approved by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), New Delhi, or a Manufacturing, Skills and Certification Vocational Training (MSCVT).
• Have secured admission through the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme in either a Government Skill Development institute or a private institute.
• Have an annual family income of ₹8,00,000 or less.

Note: Students must not have previously received any benefits from any other institution for the same or a similar course.

• Aadhaar card
• Ration card
• Caste certificate
• SSC/HSC marksheet
• Previous year's marksheet (applicable for renewal applications)
• Domicile certificate
• Income certificate (for salaried individuals) and Income tax returns (for business persons)
• Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate
• Recommendation letter

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following these detailed steps:

1. Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official website.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and proceed to fill in the required registration details. If you are already registered, log in using your Gmail, mobile number, or email ID.
3. Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button located on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Fill in all necessary details, verify your email and phone number, enter the provided captcha, and then click on the 'Register' button.
5. After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button, also located on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Log in using your unique username and password.
7. Proceed to fill in all the required scholarship-specific details, upload the necessary documents, and finally submit your application.
