About This Scholarship

The State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE), Maharashtra 2025-26, is an initiative by the Minority Development, Government of Maharashtra. Its primary goal is to offer financial assistance to students pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, and Education courses.

Selected students will receive financial aid covering their total annual course fee or ₹5,000, whichever amount is less. This scholarship aims to support the educational aspirations of eligible minority students within Maharashtra.

The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2026. Candidates will be selected based on their fulfillment of the specified eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• Hold a graduation or postgraduation degree in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, or Education.
• Have an annual family income of up to ₹8,00,000.

Important Note: Maharashtrian students who are studying outside the state are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

• Previous year marksheet
• Domicile certificate
• Income certificate
• Class 12 marksheet
• Fee receipt (for the current academic year)
• Self-declared minority certificate
• College bonafide certificate

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website for scholarship applications.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. If you are already registered, log in using your Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.
3. Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Fill in all required details, verify your email and phone number, enter the captcha, and then click on the 'Register' button.
5. After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button, which is located on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Log in using your registered username and password.
7. Proceed to fill in all the necessary details, upload the required documents as specified, and finally, submit your application.
