About This Scholarship
The State Meritorious Incentive Scheme (CBSE), Haryana 2025-26, is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana. This scheme is designed for Class 10 and Class 12 students who have achieved top positions in their CBSE annual examinations and wish to pursue higher studies in any stream within Haryana. The initiative aims to encourage academic excellence and support the overall development of deserving students. Selected students will receive full course fees until they complete their graduation.
Applications will be called from students via the head of their respective institutions. Students must have secured:
• 92% or more in English, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and the best one of the remaining subjects (for Class 10).
• 90% or more in English and the best four of the remaining subjects in Science (Medical & Non-Medical), Commerce, and Humanities after the declaration of results of the CBSE annual exam every year.
Selection will be done strictly on a merit basis, with one male and one female student chosen from each class. If more than one student secures equal marks or percentage of marks, the award will be given to all such students.

• Be pursuing higher studies at an institution in Haryana.

Scholarship Categories
Award for Class 10 Toppers
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the award for Class 10 Toppers, an applicant must:
• Be an Indian citizen.
• Be a domicile of Haryana.
• Have secured first position in the Class 10 annual CBSE examinations from an institution in Haryana.
• Be pursuing higher studies at an institution in Haryana.
• Not be receiving funding from any other sources.
The top-performing CBSE students (one boy and one girl) of Class 10 from Haryana State are entitled to receive financial assistance if they continue their studies up to Class 12 and a college degree. The government will cover all their educational fees until they finish their graduation. The yearly amount won't exceed ₹25,000 for Class 12 studies and ₹1,00,000 for college studies.

Award for Class 12 Toppers
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the award for Class 12 Toppers, an applicant must:
• Be an Indian citizen.
• Be a domicile of Haryana.
• Have secured first position in the Class 12 annual CBSE examinations from an institution in Haryana.
• Be pursuing higher studies at an institution in Haryana.
• Not be receiving funding from any other sources.
This reward is for students (a boy and a girl) from Haryana who achieve the highest rank in the CBSE Class 12 exams. If they continue their education in any field, they'll receive an incentive equal to their yearly institution fees, up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000 per year. The incentive will be provided until they complete their college degree.
