About This Scholarship
SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for students in Class 1 to 12. This two-level examination aims to recognise outstanding performers at various levels, including school toppers, students with perfect scores, and rank holders at the school, zonal, and international levels. The deadline for application is December 12, 2025.
The examinations are scheduled on the following dates:
• Exam Date One: 12 November 2025
• Exam Date Two: 28 November 2025
• Exam Date Three: 12 December 2025
The selected students stand a chance to receive up to ₹50,000 and other significant benefits, detailed as follows:
At International Level:
• 1st Rank: ₹50,000, a gold medal, and a certificate of outstanding performance
• 2nd Rank: ₹25,000, a silver medal, and a certificate of outstanding performance
• 3rd Rank: ₹10,000, a bronze medal, and a certificate of outstanding performance
In cases where two or more students achieve the same international rank:
• For up to 10 students securing the same rank, the cash award/scholarship will be distributed equally. Additionally, each winner will receive a medal in their respective category and a certificate.
• If 11 or more students secure the same rank, each winner will be awarded gifts worth ₹1,000, a medal in the applicable category, and a certificate.
At Zonal Level:
• 1st Rank: ₹5,000 + zonal gold medal + certificate of zonal excellence
• 2nd Rank: ₹2,500 + zonal silver medal + certificate of zonal excellence
• 3rd Rank: ₹1,000 + zonal bronze medal + certificate of zonal excellence
• 4th to 10th Rank: Gifts worth ₹500 + certificate of zonal excellence
• 11th to 25th Rank: Certificate of Zonal Excellence
• 26+ Rank: Merit certificate
For multiple students achieving the same zonal rank:
• For up to 5 students securing the same rank, the award amount will be distributed equally. Additionally, each winner will receive a medal in their respective category and a certificate.
• If 6 or more students secure the same rank, each winner will be awarded gifts worth ₹1,000, a medal in the applicable category, and a certificate.
• For single-level exams: A medal of distinction & certificate of distinction will be awarded for performance.
• For two-level exams: Zonal medals & certificates of zonal excellence will be awarded for second-level performance.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• Be an Indian national.
• Be enrolled in Class 1 to 12 in a recognised school/institution.
Selection Criteria:
The selection will be based on the student's performance in the olympiad and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

Note: The prospectus containing the registration forms will be sent to all schools registered with SOF. Schools that have not registered can also request a prospectus by sending an email to info@sofworld.org or by calling (0124)-4951200. The schools must return the registration forms to SOF, duly filled in and complete in all respects, by the due date at the address:
