About This Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SNU Global Edge Fellowship Program, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be a 1st or 2nd semester student currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Seoul National University during 2025.
• Be majoring in a department affiliated with a team or educational group that is sponsored by the ‘Brain Korea 21 Four Project’.
• Be actively engaged in research that is supported by the aforementioned ‘Brain Korea 21 Four Project’.
• Not be currently receiving other forms of funding or scholarships that would overlap with the benefits of this fellowship program.

Required Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following documents as part of their application:

• A duly completed application form. Ensure all sections are filled accurately and completely.
• Official academic transcripts for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. These transcripts should clearly show courses taken and grades obtained.
• A recommendation letter. This letter should ideally come from a professor or academic supervisor who can attest to the applicant's academic abilities and research potential.
• Confirmation documents demonstrating participation in the BK 21 Four Project research. This may include project registration, research reports, or letters from project coordinators.
