About This Scholarship
The Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities, Nagaland 2025, is a significant initiative by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland. This program aims to provide crucial financial assistance to disabled students currently enrolled in Class 1 to 8.
Selected candidates will receive financial support, enabling them to pursue their higher studies without undue financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
• be domiciled in Nagaland
• be studying in Class 1 to 8 in an institution which has a valid AISHE/UDISE code
• have a benchmark disability of 40% and above (as defined in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules 2017)
• have an annual family income of not exceeding ₹2,50,000 from all sources
Note: Applicants who failed their last year of examination are ineligible.
Required Documents
The following documents are required for the application:
• Xerox copy of the progress report of the last class/year passed
• Disability certificate/Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID)
• Xerox copy of the front page of the bank passbook
• Original income certificate (Annexure – I/II) issued in the year 2025 (Fresh applicants only)
Note: All applicants whose parents/guardians are employed should furnish an income certificate only in Annexure I format (certified by employer), otherwise the application will be rejected.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps:-

3. Navigate to the 'Register' button on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
4. Fill in the required details to complete the registration process. (Note: If the applicant is already registered, kindly log in using valid credentials).
5. After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents (if required), and submit.
6. Take a printout of the application form and submit it along with the Xerox copy of the documents to the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland at the address:
