About This Scholarship
The Post Matric Scholarship to SC Students, Haryana 2025-26, is a significant initiative offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana, aimed at providing financial assistance to students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category within the state. It supports those pursuing post-matric or post-secondary level education from recognized institutions.
The primary objective of this scheme is to substantially boost the Gross Enrolment Ratio of SC students in higher education, with a particular focus on individuals from economically weaker households, ensuring they have the necessary support to pursue their academic aspirations.
Eligible students can receive an academic allowance and other benefits under this scheme. The application deadline for this scholarship is November 30, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
• be an Indian national
• be a permanent resident/domicile of Haryana
• belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category of the state
• be studying at the post-matric or post-secondary level of education from a recognised institution/university/college falling in one of the below categories:
• Institutions of National Importance
• Central University/State University/Autonomous colleges recognised by UGC and Universities/Colleges recognised under section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act
• Deemed Universities
• Recognised schools/colleges for Class 11 and 12
• Diploma-granting Institutions as recognised by State/UT Governments
• Private Universities recognised by the State/Centre with A-level or equivalent accreditation by NAAC/NBA
• Private Professional Institutions affiliated with a recognised Central/State University and covered by the Fee Fixation Committee as mandated by the Supreme Court
• have an annual family income of ₹2,50,000 from all sources
Note:-
• Candidates who progress to the same level of education in a different subject after completing a prior level (e.g., Intermediate Science after Intermediate Arts, B.Com after B.A., or M.A. in one subject after an M.A. in another) are not eligible.
• Students pursuing studies through correspondence/online courses are eligible, provided the courses are offered by Central or State Universities through recognised distant or continuous education programs. However, these students will be responsible for any non-refundable fees and will not receive an academic allowance.
• All children of a parent/guardian are eligible to receive benefits of the scheme, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.

• Last examination passed certificate (except for first-year students)

How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:• If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
3. Navigate to 'Student Registration' at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant, and click on the 'Generate OTP' button.
5. Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and click on the 'Verify OTP' button.
6. After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check the information.
7. Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the 'Register' button.
8. Click the login link at the portal and enter valid credentials to apply for the scholarship.
9. Provide all necessary details like course, roll no, eligibility, etc.
10. Click on the 'Apply' button to save and submit the application.
