For instance, OBC and Minority students in Group 1 may receive ₹500 per month as a day scholar or ₹1,200 per month as a hosteler. General, SC, and ST students in Group 1 may receive ₹7,000 per year as a day scholar or ₹13,500 per year as a hosteler.

The application deadline for this scholarship is October 30, 2025, for Classes 11 and 12, and December 20, 2025, for all other classes (except 11 and 12). Students are encouraged to apply well before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship For General, Minorities, SC, ST, And OBC, Uttar Pradesh 2025, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

Residency: Must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Category: Belong to one of the following categories:
• General
• Scheduled Caste (SC)
• Scheduled Tribe (ST)
• Other Backwards Classes (OBC)
• Minorities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi)

Academic Pursuit: Must be pursuing studies from Class 11 up to the postgraduate level in recognized institutions within the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Annual Family Income: Fulfil the respective annual family income criteria from all sources:
SC/ST category: Less than ₹2,50,000
General, Minorities, OBC category: Less than ₹2,00,000

Important Note:
Students from the General, SC, and ST categories who are native residents of Uttar Pradesh and are studying in government or aided institutions outside the state are also eligible to apply for this scholarship. Selection will be based on merit and the fulfillment of all stated eligibility criteria.

6. Proceed with OTR: Tick the confirmation box indicating you have read and understood the details, then click 'Proceed'.

Important Note:
After successfully submitting the application online, students are mandatorily required to take a printout of their filled application form. This printout, along with all the attached documents, must then be submitted physically to their respective educational institutions for further processing.
