Important Notes regarding Benefits:
• Students pursuing CA, ICWA, CS, or ICFA will be considered day scholars for the academic allowance component of the scholarship.
• Students enrolled in correspondence and online courses are not eligible to receive the academic allowance.
• However, tuition fees will be disbursed to students who are pursuing their education through online or correspondence courses.
• State Governments reserve the right to provide additional funds to supplement the academic allowance with their own resources, further enhancing the support for eligible students.
The application deadline for this scholarship is November 30, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the PM Yasasvi Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Manipur 2025-26, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Be an Indian national.
• Belong to the Other Backwards Classes (OBC) category.
• Be currently enrolled in a recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary program at an accredited institution.
• Have an annual family income that does not exceed ₹2,50,000 from all sources.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents to support their scholarship application:
• Aadhaar Card: A valid Aadhaar card is mandatory for identification purposes.
• Domicile Certificate: Proof of domicile in Manipur is required.
• Passport-size Photograph: A recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.
• Attested Copies of Certificates: Attested copies of diploma, degree, or other relevant certificates for previous qualifying examinations.
• Caste Certificate: A valid caste certificate, specifically for the OBC category, signed by an authorized Revenue Officer (RO) not below the rank of Tehsildar.
• Income Certificate: An official income certificate of the parent(s) or guardian, verifying that the annual family income is within the stipulated limit.
How to Apply
Eligible students can apply for the PM Yasasvi Post-Matric Scholarship by following these detailed steps:
1. Visit the official website: Navigate to the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
2. Initiate Registration: On the portal, locate and click on the 'Register' button. If you are already a registered user, you can log in directly using your Gmail, mobile number, or email ID.
3. Access Student Section: From the dashboard, look for the 'Students' option on the left-hand side and click on it.
4. Login for OTR: Click on the 'Login' button located under the OTR (One-Time Registration) option. This step is essential for applying for scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal.
5. New User Registration: If you are a new user, click on 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Review Instructions: Carefully read all the provided details and instructions. Once understood, tick the checkbox to confirm and then click the 'Next' button to proceed.
7. Complete Registration: Enter a functional mobile number, the displayed captcha code, and the OTP (One-Time Password) you receive. Submit these details to complete the initial registration process.
8. One-Time Registration (OTR) Completion: Fill in all the required personal and academic details accurately. Click on 'Save & Register' to finalize the One-Time Registration (OTR) process.
• Note: This initial registration provides a temporary registration number. To fully complete the OTR process, students are required to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication.
9. Apply for Scholarship: After successful registration and OTR completion, navigate back to the main dashboard. Locate and click on the 'Apply for Scholarship' option, then click the 'Login' button.
10. Final Submission: Select the PM Yasasvi Post-Matric Scholarship, fill in all the necessary application details, upload the required documents as specified, and finally, submit your application.
Important Note: All applicants are strongly advised to fill in every piece of information correctly and accurately on the application form. Once an application is submitted, no further changes or modifications can be made. Furthermore, submitting multiple applications for the same scholarship will lead to immediate disqualification.
