About This Scholarship
The NSP Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana, Himachal Pradesh 2025-26 offers a significant one-time incentive to meritorious students from Himachal Pradesh. This scholarship aims to support students who have achieved admission into prestigious institutions.
It is specifically designed for those pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree program at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), or a postgraduate diploma program at any Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
The selected scholars will receive a one-time incentive/award of ₹75,000 to aid their advanced studies.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh
• have secured admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), or a postgraduate diploma program at any Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
Required Documents
The following documents are required for the application:
• Domicile certificate
• Aadhaar card
• A passport-size photograph of the applicant
• Self-attested copy of previous academic marksheet/certificate
• Admission proof/offer letter
• Details of an Aadhaar-seeded bank account
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official website.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. If already registered, log in using your Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.
3. Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Click on the 'Login' button under the OTR (One-Time Registration) option, as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
5. Click on 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
7. Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
8. Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process.
• Note: This is a temporary registration number; students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.
9. After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
10. Select the scholarship, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit.
Important Note: All applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.
