The NSP Centrally Sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students (Class 9 & 10), Manipur 2025-26 is a significant initiative by the Government of Manipur. It aims to provide crucial financial support to Scheduled Caste (SC) students who are pursuing their education in Class 9 and 10.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the NSP Centrally Sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

• be an Indian national
• be a domicile of Manipur
• belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category of the state
• be a full-time student in Class 9 or 10 from a recognised institution
• have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000

Required Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following essential documents for the scholarship application:

• One passport-size photograph with the student's signature
• Self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets for previously passed exams
• Certificate of caste, which must be signed by an authorised Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar
• The income certificate of the parents
• Academic transcripts, including marksheets and certificates

How to Apply

Eligible students can apply for the scholarship by following these detailed steps:

1. Click on the 'Apply Now' button, typically found on the scholarship's official website.
2. If you are a new user, click on the 'Register' button and proceed to fill in the required registration details. If you are already registered, log in using your Gmail, mobile number, or Email ID.
3. After logging in, navigate to the 'Students' option, usually located on the left-hand side of the dashboard, and click on it.
4. Proceed to click on the 'Login' button under the OTR (One-Time Registration) option. This step is crucial as OTR is required to apply for scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
5. For new users on NSP, click on 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Carefully read all the provided details, tick the checkbox to confirm, and then click on the 'Next' button to proceed.
7. Enter a functional mobile number, the displayed captcha code, and the OTP (One-Time Password) you receive. Submit these to complete the initial registration process.
8. Fill in all the necessary details accurately and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. Note: This provides a temporary registration number. Students will need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to fully complete the OTR process.
9. Following successful registration, go to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
10. Select the specific scholarship you wish to apply for, fill in all the required application details, upload the necessary supporting documents, and finally, submit your application.

It is important to note that all applicants are strongly advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Furthermore, submitting multiple applications for the same scholarship will result in disqualification.
