About This Scholarship

The NSP Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe Students, Nagaland 2025-26 is an important initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. This scheme aims to empower Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Nagaland by providing them with financial assistance to pursue quality higher education, ranging from Class 11 to postgraduate courses across India.

The scholarship offers significant financial support to eligible students. Selected scholars will receive varying benefits depending on their course category and whether they are hostellers or day scholars.

Financial Benefits Structure:
Group 1 (Professional Graduate/Postgraduate, M.Phil., Ph.D. courses): Hostellers receive ₹12,000 per annum, while Day Scholars receive ₹5,500 per annum.
Group 2 (Non-professional Graduate/Postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce): Hostellers receive ₹8,200 per annum, and Day Scholars receive ₹5,300 per annum.
Group 3 (Vocational, ITI, 3-year Polytechnic Diploma courses): Hostellers receive ₹5,700 per annum, and Day Scholars receive ₹3,000 per annum.
Group 4 (Post-matriculation level non-degree courses, including Classes 11 and 12): Hostellers receive ₹3,800 per annum, and Day Scholars receive ₹2,300 per annum.

Additional Support:
Divyang (disabled) students are eligible for an additional annual amount of ₹9,600 if they are hostellers and ₹7,200 if they are day scholars.

Selection Process:
Candidate selection is primarily based on meeting the specified eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

• Be a domicile of Nagaland.
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribe community of the state.
• Be pursuing higher education starting from Class 11 onwards.
• Have an annual family income of not more than ₹2,50,000.
• Not be receiving any other scholarship concurrently.

Aadhar Number
Domicile certificate
• Scanned copy of certificates, diploma, degree, etc., for all examinations passed.
Last qualified marks (percentage/equivalent percentage in case of CGPA/OGPA, etc.).
ST certificate issued by the competent authority of State/UT.
Family Income Certificate.
Disability certificate (if applicable).
• Scanned copy of a passport-size photograph.

2. New Registration: If you are a new user, click on the 'Register' button on the portal and proceed to fill in the necessary registration details.
3. Login: If you are already registered, log in using your registered Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID and valid credentials.
4. Complete Registration Details: Navigate to the registration section (if not already completed) and fill in all the required details to finalize your registration process. If you are already registered, ensure your profile is updated.
5. Fill and Submit Application: After successful registration and login, proceed to fill out the application form with all the required information. Upload the necessary documents as specified.
