Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme, an applicant must fulfill the following detailed criteria:
• The applicant must be a regular student enrolled in a central or state government-recognized institution or university.
• Admission to the institute or university must have been secured through a competitive written test.
• The applicant must hold an admission offer in one of the following specific disciplines:
• Graduate degree in Engineering (or equivalent disciplines)
• Graduate degree in Medicine (Allopathic/Ayurvedic/Homeopathic)
• MBA/PGDM
• Architecture
• CA (after successfully qualifying the CPT examination)
• CFA (after successfully qualifying the Foundation test)
• LLB (after qualifying for degree exams or passing the entrance test)
• Journalism and Mass Communication
• Applicants must have secured at least 90% marks or above in their Class 12 examination.
• The annual family income from all sources must be less than ₹3,50,000.
Important Notes:
• To ensure the renewal of the scholarship in subsequent years, students are required to secure a minimum of 75% marks annually.
• A dedicated 50% of the total scholarship amount is reserved specifically for girl students, promoting gender equality in higher education.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive set of documents along with their application form. All copies of documents must be self-attested.
• A fully completed application form with a passport-sized photograph securely affixed.
• Self-attested copies of the following documents:
• The latest payslip and IT return for all earning members of the family, or a family income certificate issued by the area Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Block Development Officer (BDO), or Tehsildar.
• The official admission slip or offer letter provided by the university or educational institution.
• Mark sheets of all previous academic qualifications, starting from Class 10 onwards.
• Certificates for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
• Results of all semester exams passed, if currently pursuing a course.
• The latest fee receipts issued by the university or institute.
• Detailed fee receipts, optionally signed by the principal or administrator of the institution.
• Aadhaar card or PAN card for identity verification.
• A self-declaration or affidavit.
• The passbook from the student's savings bank account, to be used for the remittance of financial help. This is particularly relevant if the student has already deposited the fee in the institute or college and is seeking reimbursement.
• Bank statements of all savings bank accounts belonging to all family members.
• A certificate issued by the institution, which must explicitly state:
• That the student will not receive, or has not already received, any other scholarship.
• That the student has not gained admission through management or convenor quota, or any other special quota.
