About This Scholarship
The NAEd/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025, provided by the Spencer Foundation, offers a valuable opportunity for international students holding a PhD degree. This fellowship is designed to support early-career scholars dedicated to critical areas of education research.
Selected fellows will receive substantial benefits, including:
• A fellowship grant of USD 70,000 (approximately ₹61,32,101) for one academic year, disbursed in two instalments.
• Participation in three professional development retreats featuring distinguished scholars.
• Mentorship from an NAEd member or another esteemed scholar throughout the academic year.
The application deadline for this prestigious fellowship is November 13, 2025 (5:00 PM ET).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
• have received a PhD, EdD, or equivalent research degree between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2024.
• not hold tenure status at the time of the application deadline.
• have a demonstrated record of research experience in education, with the project focused on education research.
• submit an individual application.
Note:-
• If the applicant’s doctorate will be completed in 2025, they are eligible to apply the following year.
• Group applications will not be accepted.
