About This Scholarship
The Merit Based Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is an initiative by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare (State Schemes) designed to support the educational pursuits of Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Goa. This scholarship aims to acknowledge their dedication and academic achievements, motivating them to strive for further excellence.
Selected students will be awarded a scholarship amount of up to ₹20,000, varying based on their academic performance.
Key Benefits:
• ₹20,000 for the top five rank holders in SSC and HSSC examinations.
• ₹6,000 for students scoring 50% to 59.99%.
• ₹9,600 for students scoring 60% to 69.99%.
• ₹12,000 for students scoring 70% to 74.99%.
• ₹18,000 for students scoring 75% and above.
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the SSC and HSSC board examinations.
The application period for this scholarship opens on June 15, 2025, with a deadline of October 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribes Community.
• Have an annual family income below ₹5,00,000.
• Note: The first five rank holders of the SSC and HSSC examinations shall receive a scholarship irrespective of their family income.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
• Copy of caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Copy of income certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Copy of mark sheet.
• Receipt of fees paid.
• Self-attested copy of bank passbook seeded with Aadhaar card (a national bank account is recommended).
• Copy of Aadhaar card along with a consent form.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
