About This Scholarship
MANAGE Internship Program 2023 is an initiative by the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. This program is specifically designed for Ph.D. or postgraduate students.
It offers a valuable opportunity for interns to learn about recent advancements in agricultural extension management. Participants gain significant applied experience, develop professional dynamism, and build networks among various agricultural extension stakeholders.
Applications for this internship are open throughout the year, providing flexibility for interested candidates to apply at any time.
The selection process for the internship is based entirely on the fulfillment of the specified eligibility criteria.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend, along with chargeable boarding and accommodation. Ph.D. candidates will be awarded ₹35,000 per month, whereas Postgraduate candidates will receive ₹25,000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MANAGE Internship Program, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Hold a postgraduate or Ph.D. degree in one of the following specializations:
• Agricultural Extension
• Agriculture Marketing
• Home Science Extension
• Agri-Business Management
• Agricultural Economics
• Animal Husbandry Extension
• Fisheries Extension
• Forestry
• Food Technology
• Agriculture Engineering
• Mass Communication & Journalism
• Information Technology
• Food Processing
• Have secured 80% marks in their academic pursuits.
• Possess a good academic background and demonstrated strong writing skills.
Required Documents
The following documents are required to be submitted with the application:
• A letter of recommendation from the Head of the Department (HoD) of the applicant's institution.
• A tentative proposal for topical research, which should not exceed two pages.
• Note: This tentative proposal must clearly include:
• The proposed title of the research
• Specific objectives
• A selected review of relevant literature (both National & International status)
• A comprehensive work plan, detailing the brief methodology, study area, sampling plan, and time schedule
• Expected outcomes of the research
• A Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a motivation letter from the student, both duly attested by the Chairman & HoD.
