About This Scholarship
The MAFSU Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC) is an initiative by the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Government of Maharashtra. This program aims to provide crucial financial assistance to students belonging to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) category. It supports those enrolled in diploma, degree, or postgraduate professional courses who have secured admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
Selected students under this scheme are eligible for significant financial relief, receiving a reimbursement of up to 100% of their tuition and exam fees. This support helps deserving students pursue their higher education without the burden of high educational costs.
Benefits of the Scholarship:
The selected candidates will receive financial assistance in the following manner:
• For Professional Courses • Tuition Fees:
• Annual Family Income up to ₹2,50,000:
• 100% reimbursement for Government and Non-Government Aided courses.
• 50% reimbursement for Partially Aided and Permanent Unaided courses.
• Annual Family Income from ₹2,50,000 to ₹8,00,000:
• 50% reimbursement for all course types (Government, Non-Government Aided, Partially Aided, Permanent Unaided).
• For Professional Courses • Exam Fees:
• Annual Family Income up to ₹8,00,000:
• 50% reimbursement for all course types.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MAFSU Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna, an applicant must fulfill the following conditions:
• Be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• Be a "Bonafide Student of the Institute." This means the applicant must be genuinely enrolled and pursuing their studies at the institution.
• Be enrolled in a professional and technical course, which can be either an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) degree, within a recognized educational institution.
• Have secured admission under the general category.
• Have been admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
• Have an annual family income of not more than ₹8,00,000 from all sources.
• Maintain a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester. This requirement is waived for newly admitted students in their first semester.
• Not be a recipient of any other scholarship or stipend from any other government or private source. This scholarship is intended to be exclusive.
• Attempt every semester or annual examination relevant to their course of study. Regular participation in examinations is mandatory.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents to be considered for the scholarship:
• Domicile certificate, proving residency in Maharashtra.
• Income certificate, verifying the annual family income does not exceed the specified limit.
• Marksheet of Class 12 (H.S.C) and mark sheets for all subsequent qualifying examinations.
• Attendance certificate from the previous academic year or semester (not applicable for newly admitted students).
• CAP-related documents, which include proof of admission through the Centralized Admission Process.
• Marksheet of the previous academic year.
• Gap-related documents, if there has been a break in studies, explaining the reason for the gap (if applicable).
• An undertaking for the current year, confirming that no more than two beneficiaries from the same family are applying for or receiving this scholarship.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following these steps:
1. Step 1: Visit the official website for scholarship applications.
2. Step 2: Locate and click on the 'Register' button to create a new account. If you are already registered, you can log in directly using your Gmail, Mobile number, or Email ID.
3. Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button, usually found on the right-hand side of the dashboard, and click on it.
4. Step 4: Fill in all the required registration details accurately. Verify your email address and phone number, enter the provided captcha code, and then click on the 'Register' button to complete the registration process.
5. Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, find the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click it.
6. Step 6: Log in to your applicant account using the username and password you created during registration.
7. Step 7: Proceed to fill in all the necessary scholarship application details, carefully upload the required documents as specified, and finally, submit your application.
