About This Scholarship
The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 is a prestigious initiative designed to support meritorious girl students across India. This scholarship aims to empower young women by providing financial assistance for their professional graduation programs. It helps cover significant academic expenses, ensuring that deserving students can pursue their higher education without financial burden.
Selected scholars will receive a substantial scholarship amount each year until the completion of their professional graduation course or degree. This financial aid is intended to alleviate costs associated with tuition fees, hostel accommodation, internet access, transportation, laptops, books, and stationery, among other academic necessities.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Gender and Merit: Open exclusively for meritorious girl students across India.
• Academic Performance: Applicants must have scored at least 75% or more marks or an equivalent CGPA in their Class 12 board examinations.
• Family Income: The applicant's annual family income must be less than INR 6,00,000.
• Program Enrollment: Meritorious girl students must have secured admission to the first year of professional graduation programs in the academic year 2025-26.
• Eligible institutes of repute include those that are NIRF/NAAC accredited.
• Eligible professional degrees include Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research (in ISER, IISC(Bangalore)), or other professional courses such as Design and Architecture.
• Exclusions: Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, and the official website are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Required Documents
Applicants for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 are required to submit the following documents:
• Academic Records: Marksheet of the previous qualifying examination (Class 12).
• Income Proof:
• Income proof of parents/guardians.
• ITR of parents for FY 2024-25 (if available).
• Admission and Enrollment Proof:
• Fee structure for the academic year 2025-26.
• Bonafide student certificate/letter from the college.
• College seat allocation document.
• College entrance examination scorecard.
• Identity and Financial Information:
• Aadhaar card.
• Bank passbook.
• A passport-size photograph.
• Special Circumstance Documents (if applicable):
• Disability certificate.
• Death certificate of parent (for single parent/orphan candidates).
• Proof of Residence: Photographs of the house.
