Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of an eligible Asian or Pacific country.
• Hold a strong academic record with a Master’s degree in economics or a related field.
• Have not obtained a Master’s Degree from outside their own country.
• Be admitted to a Ph.D. program in economics at a leading university.

Note: Priority will be given to candidates who meet the following conditions:

• Applicants under 36 years of age.
• Applicants having a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the public sector at the time of application.
