Selection Process:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be an Indian national
• be working at Indian institutions/universities at a senior level
• be an active and senior scientist/engineer
• have a record of outstanding performance through indicators like publications, research outcomes, patents, technology transfers, awards, grants, etc., in all science and engineering domains
Note: The science and engineering domains include agriculture, medicine, humanities and social sciences at the interface of science and technology.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below (referring to the button on the official website).

Step 4: Fill in all the required information in the application form, upload the necessary supporting documents, and finally submit your application.
Important Notes for Nominators and Nominees:
• The nominator will receive an intimation via email, which will include a link to the ANRF online portal. This link allows the nominator to view the filled-in J. C. Bose Grant Nomination form.
• The nominator has the option to either submit the nomination directly to ANRF or resend the form to the nominee for any required revisions.
• Once the nomination is successfully submitted, both the nominee and the nominator will receive an intimation confirming the successful submission.
