About This Scholarship
The Home Nursing Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is an initiative by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa. It aims to provide crucial financial assistance to eligible and meritorious Scheduled Tribe students residing in Goa. The scheme supports students pursuing various Home Nursing courses, including Certificate, Diploma, Degree, and Health Worker programs, at institutions recognized by the State or Central Government.
Through this scheme, selected students receive significant financial support, which includes:
• Course fees:
• Certificate courses: ₹7,000 or actual (whichever is less)
• Diploma courses: ₹10,000 or actual (whichever is less)
• Degree courses: ₹20,000 or actual (whichever is less)
• Worker courses: ₹7,000 or actual (whichever is less)
• Maintenance allowance: ₹1,000 per month for day scholars or ₹1,600 per month for hostellers.
• One-time expenditure:
• Certificate courses: ₹2,000
• Diploma courses: ₹4,000
• Degree courses: ₹6,000
• Worker courses: ₹4,000
The application window for this scholarship opens on June 15, 2025, and closes on October 15, 2025. Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit and their successful fulfillment of all specified eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
• be a student born in Goa or a resident for at least 15 years
• be admitted to an institution recognised by the State/Central Government for one of the following courses:
• Certificate Course in Home Nursing (6–12 months)
• Diploma in Home Nursing (1 year or more)
• Degree in Nursing (3 years)
• Health Worker Course (1 year)
• have an annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000 from all sources
• not be availing of any other scholarship/stipend for the same course.
Note: An applicant must not claim a scholarship during internship/housemanship if receiving remuneration or allowance.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.

3. Click on 'Register' at the top of the page.
4. Under the 'Student Registration' tab, click the first 'Click here' text for registration.
5. Fill in the required fields and click 'Register'.
6. Confirm the entered data, click 'Login' at the top of the page, and enter valid credentials.
7. After logging in, verify the details and make changes if necessary.
8. Follow the instructions to complete and submit the application.
