Selected candidates will receive substantial support, including a full tuition fee waiver at TU Wien, covering the costs of their master's program. Additionally, a generous annual stipend will be provided to assist with living expenses and other academic necessities for up to two years.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Helmut Veith Scholarship, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

Admission to TU Wien:
• The applicant must qualify for admission to one of TU Wien’s English-taught master’s programs in computer science.
• It is mandatory to secure an unconditional admission to TU Wien before the scholarship can be awarded.

Academic Background:
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (aligned with the Bologna first cycle) or possess an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Research Interests:
• Applicants should demonstrate significant mathematical and technical knowledge.
• They must also show a strong interest in at least one of Helmut Veith’s key research areas, which include:
• Logic in Computer Science
• Formal Methods and Verification
• Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
• Algorithms and Complexity Theory
• Computer Security

Language Proficiency:
• All applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency in English, as the master's programs are taught in this language.
