The Eklavya Scholarship, Maharashtra 2025-26 is a significant opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra. This program aims to provide crucial financial assistance to deserving graduates who are pursuing postgraduate degree courses in various streams.
This scholarship specifically targets graduates from Law, Arts, Commerce, and Science disciplines who have successfully secured admission to a postgraduate program. It is designed to support meritorious students in their advanced studies.
Selected scholars will receive a one-time merit-based financial assistance of ₹5,000. This grant is intended to help alleviate some of the financial burden associated with higher education.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• Be a graduate domiciled in Maharashtra.
• Have secured a minimum of:
• 60% marks in Law, Commerce, or Arts.
• 70% marks in Science.
from a recognized Maharashtra institution/university.
• Have an annual family income of ₹75,000 or less.
• Not be employed part-time or full-time.
Note: Students domiciled in Maharashtra, but studying outside the state, are ineligible for this scholarship.
Required Documents
To complete your application, please ensure you have the following required documents:
• Income certificate issued by Tahsildar.
• Marksheet and certificates of the last qualifying examination.
• Domicile certificate.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
1. Step 1: Visit the official website and locate the 'Apply Now' link.
2. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
3. Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
4. Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify your email and phone number, enter the captcha, and click on the 'Register' button.
5. Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Step 6: Log in using your username and password.
7. Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit your application.
