About This Scholarship
The Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana is a significant opportunity launched by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa. This scheme is specifically designed to support Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in classes 10, 11, and 12, providing crucial financial assistance for their coaching classes.
The primary goal of this initiative is to help students prepare for various competitive professional courses, including Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Law, CA, and Paramedical Sciences. It aims to empower them with the necessary resources to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Key Benefits of the Yojana:
Selected candidates under this scheme will receive a 75% reimbursement of their coaching fees. The reimbursement structure is as follows:
Up to ₹10,000 per subject per year for students residing in rural areas.
Up to ₹12,000 per subject per year for students residing in urban areas.
Instalment Structure for Reimbursement:
First Instalment (50%): This portion of the reimbursement is disbursed during the first term upon the successful submission of the coaching fee receipt.
Second Instalment (25%): The remaining 25% is paid after the submission of the first term attendance certificate, ensuring consistent participation in the coaching program.
Note: The entire reimbursement amount is disbursed directly to the student's bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for transparency and efficiency.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit and their successful fulfillment of all specified eligibility criteria. The scheme encourages deserving ST students to apply and benefit from this valuable support.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana, an applicant must fulfill the following conditions:
• Must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• Must be a regular, full-time student enrolled in a government or government-recognized school located in Goa.
• Must opt for coaching fee reimbursements for one of the following specified subjects:
• Class 10: Mathematics, Science & English
• Class 11 (Science Stream): Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
• Class 12 (Science Stream): Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
• Class 12 (Commerce Stream): Accountancy, Mathematics
• Class 12 (Arts Stream): English, Economics
Note: Students pursuing courses through open schooling are not eligible for this scheme.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
• A recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.
• Caste certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Birth certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Aadhaar card issued by a competent authority.
• A Bank mandate form clearly detailing the applicant's bank account information.
• A copy of the applicant's Bank passbook.
• Student identity card issued by the educational institute where the student is currently enrolled.
• Fee Receipt along with the detailed fee structure of the courses offered by the coaching institute, categorized group-wise.
Note: All submitted copies of the documents must be self-attested by the applicant.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply for the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana by following these steps:
1. Step 1: Locate and click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official website.
2. Step 2: If you are a new user, click on the 'Register' button and proceed to fill in all the necessary registration details. If you are already registered, log in using your Gmail account, Mobile number, or Email ID.
3. Step 3: After logging in, navigate to the top of the page and click on ‘Register’ again.
4. Step 4: Under the ‘Student Registration’ tab, you will find a text link that says ‘Click here’. Click on this first link to continue with your registration process.
5. Step 5: Accurately fill in all the required fields in the application form and then click ‘Register’ to submit your initial details.
6. Step 6: Carefully review the data you have entered for accuracy. Then, click on ‘Login’ at the top of the page and enter your valid credentials to access your application.
7. Step 7: Once logged in, verify all your pre-filled details. Make any necessary changes or updates to ensure all information is current and correct.
8. Step 8: Follow the provided instructions meticulously to complete the remainder of the application form and submit it successfully.
