The Dr. Reddy's Foundation Sashakt Scholarship 2025 is a dedicated initiative by the Dr. Reddy's Foundation, an NGO committed to empowering female students across India. This program specifically targets young women who have successfully completed Class 12 and aspire to pursue higher education in B.Sc. in Natural/Pure Sciences, B.Tech., or M.B.B.S. degree programs at one of the specified institutions.
The primary goal of this scholarship is to foster access to quality education for female students, particularly those from rural areas and low socio-economic backgrounds, enabling them to attend some of India's leading science institutions. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support and ongoing mentorship throughout their undergraduate studies.
Selected scholars will receive a significant scholarship amount of ₹2,40,000, distributed as ₹80,000 per annum for three years of study. This financial assistance is designed to cover essential educational expenses including college tuition fees, study-related costs, and basic living expenses, ensuring students can focus on their academics without undue financial burden.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Dr. Reddy's Foundation Sashakt Scholarship, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be an Indian citizen.
• Be a female student who has successfully passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
• Demonstrate a strong and consistent academic record.
• Have secured admission to a B.Tech, M.B.B.S., or Natural/Pure Sciences in a B.Sc. degree program at one of the institutions listed in the terms and conditions section.
Note: Preference will be given to students originating from rural areas, those belonging to economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and individuals who exhibit a keen interest in scientific research.
