Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• Be a child of a registered labourer and/or an Alpabhudharak shetkari (marginal landholders).
• Have applied for a degree course in one of the following disciplines in a government-aided, corporation, or private unaided college:
• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
• Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTH)
• B.Sc. Nursing
• Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
• Bachelor's in Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO)
• Bachelor's in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP)
• Dual-Degree programs
• Have taken admission in hostels located in major cities of Maharashtra such as Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, or other locations within the state.
• Have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000.
Note: Candidates admitted under the General or SEBC category are also eligible to apply for this scheme.

• Domicile certificate
• HSC and SSC mark sheets (required for new applicants)
• Income certificate of parent(s)
