Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• Be a citizen of India and currently residing in the country.
• Commit to returning to India at the end of the fellowship.
• Not hold British or dual-British citizenship.
• Possess at least seven years of relevant work experience prior to applying.
• Have a demonstrable commitment to innovation, coupled with the experience and aptitude to actively contribute to the programme.
• Hold a postgraduate level qualification and an excellent academic background in science, engineering, or technology, or possess equivalent professional training or experience in a relevant area at the time of application.
• Have a working knowledge of English.
• Agree to adhere to all relevant guidelines and expectations set for the fellowship.
Successful individuals typically possess significant experience as:
• Executives of service companies, manufacturing businesses, or state-owned companies.
• Entrepreneurs and individuals who serve and fund the entrepreneurial community.
• Research scientists.
• Academics and public-sector employees.
Note: Employees or relatives of an employee of the UK government, the British Council, a sponsoring UK university, or a staff member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities are ineligible for this fellowship.
