About This Scholarship

The Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2026-27 is a prestigious opportunity provided through a partnership between the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Clore Leadership Programme. This fellowship is designed for mid-career professionals in the arts and culture sector, offering them an exceptional chance to undertake a highly individualized leadership development program within the UK.

Selected fellows will benefit from comprehensive financial support covering various expenses, enabling them to fully immerse themselves in the program.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on their merit and their ability to fulfill all specified eligibility criteria. The selection aims to identify individuals with strong leadership potential and a commitment to the arts and culture sector.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a citizen of India.
• Not hold British or dual-British citizenship.
• Intend to return to India after the end of their studies.
• Have a good working knowledge of English.
• Hold a degree equivalent to at least a UK second-class honours degree (a minimum of 65-70% marks in Indian standard) or possess equivalent professional training and/or experience.
• Have completed at least five years or equivalent work experience by the end of 2025.
• Work in areas such as the visual and performing arts, museums, libraries, archives and heritage, film and digital media, and cultural policy and practice.
• Not have already received or been receiving financial benefit from an HMG-funded scholarship or fellowship in the past five years.

Note: Employees or relatives of an employee of the UK government, the British Council, a sponsoring UK university, or a staff member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities are ineligible for this fellowship.
