About This Scholarship

Amity University Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by Amity University to support meritorious students aspiring to pursue undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. This scholarship program aims to recognise and reward academic excellence, offering deserving students access to world-class education.

The selected students can receive a scholarship of up to a 100% tuition fee waiver, depending on their academic performance and specific scholarship category.

Amity University was established in 2005 by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, a non-profit organisation. It is a Private Research University founded by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan.

Important Dates: The application deadline for most scholarships is October 31, 2025. For the Sports Scholarship, the application deadline is August 30, 2025.

Selection Criteria: The selection process for admission in all courses typically includes a personal interview. Where necessary, creative tests, physical efficiency tests, and game-playing ability tests are also conducted.

Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility for Admission (Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs):

For Undergraduate Admission, an applicant must:

• have passed Class 10 and 12 or equivalent from a recognised board/council.
• have scored a minimum aggregate percentage (75%-50%) with a similar percentage in relevant subjects.
• be an enrolled student member of the Institute of Actuaries of India/UK.
• be a professional in registered industries/organisations (public/private) within 50 km, with a minimum of one year of experience, holding a relevant diploma or B.Sc. with 50% marks.

For Postgraduate Admission, an applicant must:

• have a relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree from an accredited Indian or international university with a minimum aggregate percentage (75%-50%), or equivalent CGPA.
• have a relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree with a minimum aggregate percentage (75%-50%), and be a student member of the Institute of Actuaries, India/UK.
• have graduated and appeared in MAT/GMAT/CMAT/CAT/XAT/NMAT between September 2024 and May 2025.

Specific Scholarship Eligibility Categories:

For the Undergraduate Scholarships (Merit-Based):

• Applicants must have secured a minimum of 90% aggregate and above in Class 12 CBSE/ISC Board in the academic year 2024/25.
• Secured a minimum of 80% in ICSE/ CBSE and State Boards, with a minimum of 85% in CUET in the academic year 2025.
• Secured a minimum of 90% in JEE Mains or CLAT in the academic year 2025.

For Sports Scholarships:

• Applicant must be a sportsperson (participated in the following games: Olympic Games, World championships, Asian Games, Asian Championship, Commonwealth Games, S.A.F. Games and Afro Asian Games, Paralympic Games).
• Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility for UG/PG programs mentioned in the Admission Prospectus 2025.
• The age of candidates must be below 23 years as on 01 July 2025.

For Martyr’s Scholarships:

• Applicants must be a ward of a Martyr (Army, Special Frontier Force, ITBP, Navy, Indian Coast Guard, CISF, Air Force, CRPF, SSB, Assam Rifles, BSF, State Police).
• The candidate needs to be qualified for a programme of study through the admission process and be admitted to the University.
• Applicants must meet the minimum academic eligibility of the UG/PG program and appear in the prescribed selection process.
• The qualifying act in which the deceased attained martyrdom must be in line of duty.

Important Notes on Eligibility:

• Eligibility will be relaxed by 5% for the sponsored category.
• The overall percentage will be calculated based on marks scored in English and three academic subjects (excluding second language, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any other vocational or non-written subjects).
• Students must have passed all the subjects of class 12 from a recognised board.

How to Apply

Application Process:

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website and locate the scholarship application section.
2. Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
3. Navigate to the ‘Apply Now’ and click on the ‘Application Form’ tab.
4. Fill in the required details to register (name, email ID, phone number, and captcha code) and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button.
5. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify OTP’ button.
6. Fill in the required details in the Application form (personal details, course, education qualifications, etc).
7. Upload the required documents along with the online application form.
8. Proceed to pay for the application fees online through Credit/Debit Card/Netbanking/Paytm.
9. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Important Notes on Application:

• Payment of a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,500 is necessary for the admission process.
• Candidates who qualify for the scholarship should visit the Admission office with their original marksheets to apply for the On Admission Scholarship by October 31 of the admission year. No scholarship requests will be accepted after this date.
