About This Scholarship

The AICTE Yashasvi (Young Achievers' Scholarship & Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative) Scheme 2024 is an initiative by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). This scholarship aims to motivate and support students pursuing technical education in core engineering branches at AICTE-approved institutions. The focus is on encouraging students in fields such as Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical courses.

A total of 5,000 scholarships are awarded annually under this scheme. This includes 2,500 scholarships specifically for degree students and another 2,500 scholarships for diploma students.

Benefits for Scholars:
• Degree students are eligible to receive ₹18,000 per year for a maximum duration of four years.
• Diploma students can receive ₹12,000 per year for a maximum of three years.

Applications for first-year students will remain open throughout the year until the official announcement of the closure for accepting new submissions.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the AICTE Yashasvi Scheme 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Indian national.
• Be admitted to the first year of a degree or diploma level course in any AICTE-approved institution for the current academic year.
• Fulfill specific academic merit requirements as detailed below.

Academic & Selection Criteria:
For Degree Students: Selection is based solely on the merit of the qualifying examination (Class 12 marks). This applies to students admitted to a core engineering branch at any AICTE-approved institution.

For Diploma Students: Selection is based solely on the merit of the qualifying examination (Class 10 marks). This criterion is for students admitted to a core engineering diploma program at any AICTE-approved institution.

Selected candidates will receive their scholarship amount annually through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, ensuring direct and efficient disbursement of funds.

Required Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following documents during the application process:

Academic transcripts, including mark sheets and certificates from all relevant qualifying examinations (e.g., Class 10 and Class 12).
Domicile certificate (if applicable), which serves as proof of residency.
Identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or other government-issued identification.
Caste certificate (if applicable), for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), or other reserved categories.
Disability certificate (if applicable), for students with disabilities, issued by a competent authority.
Admission letter/fee receipts, serving as valid proof of admission to an AICTE-approved institution for the current academic year.

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can follow these detailed steps to apply for the AICTE Yashasvi Scheme 2024:

1. Visit the official website dedicated to this scholarship and locate the application section.

2. On the application dashboard or portal, click on the 'Register' button. Provide all the necessary details to create your account. If you are an existing user, simply log in using your registered email ID and password.

3. Navigate to the 'Get your OTP' section within the portal and select the 'Apply now' option to proceed with your application.

4. Carefully read through all the displayed guidelines and instructions. Once understood, tick the checkbox to confirm your agreement and then click on the 'Next' button. Register using a valid and active mobile number.

5. Complete the mandatory eKYC process. This can be done using your Aadhaar card or, if you do not possess an Aadhaar card, your Enrollment ID (EID) for Aadhaar.

6. After successfully registering and completing the eKYC, log in to the application portal using your newly created or existing valid credentials.

7. Select the AICTE Yashasvi scholarship scheme from the list of available scholarships. Fill in all the required details accurately in the application form, upload all the necessary documents as specified in the guidelines, and finally, submit your application.
