Visually Impaired Student Praneet Gupta Excels at IIM Udaipur

Praneet Gupta, the first visually impaired student at IIM Udaipur , recently completed an MBA internship at Bosch Global Software Technologies Bengaluru . He secured this role after clearing the CAT exam on his first attempt and receiving over 15 admission offers from various IIMs and IITs.

Academic Achievements and Awards

Gupta has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Bal Shree President Award from former President Ram Nath Kovind, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Governor of Rajasthan, Haribhau Bagade, and the Academic Excellence Award from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

He is also the first Indian to win the World Champion Award in Mental Mathematics twice, competing in Delhi and Dubai. In these competitions, he faced approximately 5,500 students from 56 nations. His achievements include creating several records in mathematics calculation and winning the India’s Got Talent Math Genius Award. Beyond academics, Gupta holds a Visharad degree in music from Gandharva Music Academy, Mumbai.
