Dehradun, Uttarakhand – The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) released the final state merit list for Uttarakhand NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 1 on November 21 . The list, available on hnbumu.ac.in, declares 1,122 candidates eligible for admission to state quota seats in MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) postgraduate medical courses.

Qualified candidates must complete their choice filling and locking process for preferred colleges and courses by November 24 . This is a critical deadline for all students on the merit list.

Merit List Details and Discrepancies

While 1,122 students qualified, 27 candidates received specific remarks regarding document issues. These issues included failure to upload a valid No-Objection Certificate (NOC), lack of Uttarakhand-bonded status, or insufficient work experience in difficult areas (less than one year).

The merit list also includes weightage marks. Of the 41 candidates who claimed weightage based on their Provincial Medical and Health Services (PMHS) status and supporting documents, only 12 received approval. Weightage marks range from 10% to 30%.

NRI Quota Update
