UPSC CSE 2025 Rank 301 Clarified by Commission

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) confirmed the identity of the candidate ranked 301 in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. This clarification followed online speculation after the results were released on March 6.

UPSC CSE 2025 Rank Clarification

Two candidates named Akanksha Singh initially claimed the 301 rank. One candidate is from Ara, Bihar. The other is from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

According to PTI reports, the candidate who secured rank 301 is Akanksha Singh, daughter of Ranjit Singh and Neelam Singh. She is from Uttar Pradesh.

CSE 2025 Exam Details

The UPSC declared the CSE Mains 2025 results on March 6 . A total of 958 candidates qualified.

The CSE Prelims exam occurred on May 25 . The Mains exam took place from August 22 to August 31 .

Anuj Agnihotri topped the CSE Mains 2025 exam.

The candidature of 348 recommended candidates is provisional.

Career Opportunities

Qualified candidates can pursue positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). They are also eligible for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). Appointments in Central Services Group A and B are also possible.
