The salary for a police constable in Uttar Pradesh starts at Pay Level 3. The new pay scale ranges from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The old pay scale was Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200.
Examination Structure
The written test consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total marks for the exam are 300 marks . The exam duration is 150 minutes .
The syllabus covers four sections: General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Logical Reasoning. The examination includes negative marking for incorrect answers.
