UP NEET PG Round 3 Dates Revised; 8,935 Registered

Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (UP NEET PG) round 3 counselling dates have been revised. The Directorate General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh updated the schedule to align with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) All India Quota (AIQ) counselling deadline.

The UP NEET PG round 3 choice filling period is now extended. Candidates can submit their preferences for courses and colleges until February 13 . This period began on February 6.

A total of 1,458 MD and MS seats remain unfilled. Additionally, 75 DNB seats are available after two rounds of state counselling. The total number of seats open for round 3 is 1,533.

Registration and Eligibility

Following a reduction in NEET PG cut-offs by the health ministry, candidates with lower scores registered for counselling. General category candidates needed a minimum score of 103 marks (7th percentile). Reserved category candidates could register with scores as low as -40 marks and 0 percentile .

As of the UP NEET PG round 3 merit list, 8,935 candidates have registered and paid fees. The lowest score among these registrants is -20 marks . Two other candidates with -5 marks have also applied.

For Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) seats, candidates with scores from -20 upwards have registered. For Doctor of National Board (DNB) courses, 290 candidates applied. The lowest score for DNB registration was 25 marks.

Revised Counselling Schedule

The UP NEET PG round 3 counselling schedule has been updated. Key dates are as follows:

Candidates should ensure they complete choice filling before the February 13 deadline. Seat allotment results will be released on February 16. Allotted candidates can download their letters between February 16 and February 19.
