Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has invited Singapore-based Global Indian International School (GIIS) to establish a presence in Lucknow. The invitation came during Adityanath’s address to the Indian diaspora in Singapore. He praised GIIS for its focus on excellence and skill development.
GIIS Expansion in Lucknow
Adityanath encouraged GIIS to bring its educational model to Lucknow. The school group expressed its interest in this proposal. Atul Temurnikar, chairman and co-founder of Global Schools Group, stated they would consider the invitation. GIIS operates 64 international campuses globally. This includes locations in Asia and the United Kingdom.
Dialogue with Indian Diaspora
The Global Schools Group hosted Chief Minister Adityanath. The event took place at their One World International School campus. The meeting involved discussions with approximately 1,500 members of the Indian diaspora based in Singapore. This interaction focused on Uttar Pradesh’s investment opportunities. Temurnikar highlighted the state’s growth potential. He cited improvements in infrastructure, industry, and governance.

Temurnikar noted the Indian diaspora’s interest in contributing to India’s economic growth. He stated that Uttar Pradesh offers chances for global collaboration. The dialogue aimed to foster such partnerships.
