The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) begins its Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Physics examinations on February 27, 2026 . Over 50 lakh students across Uttar Pradesh are registered for the board examinations this year.
A total of 52,30,297 candidates will take the High School and Intermediate exams. Class 10 has 27,50,945 students registered. Class 12 has 24,79,352 students enrolled. These exams will be held at 8,033 centers statewide.
Exam Schedule
Examinations run in two daily shifts. The Class 10 Mathematics paper is scheduled from 8:30 am to 11:15 am . The Class 12 Physics paper will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm . Practical exams concluded earlier this month.
Examination Guidelines for Students
UPMSP has issued specific guidelines for students appearing from February 18 to March 12, 2026. Adherence to these rules is mandatory for all candidates.
Required Documents
Students must bring their printed admit card. This card needs to be signed by the school principal. A valid original photo ID is also required. Accepted IDs include a school identity card or Aadhaar card.
Arrival and Access
Candidates should arrive at their examination center at least one hour before the exam starts. The UPMSP operates two exam sessions daily. Early arrival ensures students are settled before the exam begins.
Permitted and Prohibited Items
Only blue or black ballpoint pens and pencils are allowed for writing. Erasers and a transparent geometry box are also permitted. The following items are strictly prohibited: mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, books, notes, loose papers, and food items. Sharing of stationery is forbidden.
Inside the Examination Hall
Students must write their roll number and answer booklet number on every page of their answer sheet. Unfair means can lead to disqualification. Candidates cannot leave the examination hall before the end of the exam period.
