UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams 2026 Extended to Feb 13

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPBSE) has extended the deadline for its Class 12 practical examinations for the 2026 academic year. Both phases of the practical exams will now conclude on February 13 , an extension from the previously scheduled dates. This decision comes as a measure to accommodate schools with pending practical exams and to ensure all marks are uploaded correctly.

Exam Schedule Revised

The UP Board Class 12 practical exams were originally planned in two phases. The first phase was set to run from January 24 to February 1. The second phase was scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 9. These dates have now been extended to February 13 for both phases.

Marks Upload Deadline Extended

The UPBSE noted that some schools have not yet completed their practical examinations. Additionally, marks for completed exams have not been uploaded online within the original timelines. Bhagwati Singh, secretary of the UP Board of Secondary Education, stated that the extension is in the students’ interest. He confirmed the new end date for both practical exam phases is February 13, 2026 .

Schools Directed to Complete Uploads

All examiners and school principals have been instructed by the board to finalize the remaining practical examinations. They must ensure that 100 percent of the practical marks are uploaded to the board’s official website before the new deadline of February 13. This is critical for the timely processing of student results.

Accountability for Non-Compliance

The UP Board issued a stern warning regarding non-compliance. It stated that if any candidate’s result is negatively impacted by a failure to upload marks within the stipulated time, the responsible parties will be held accountable. This includes the concerned examiner, principal, and the district school inspector. They will be considered fully responsible for lax supervision.

Students are advised to confirm the specific dates for their practical exams with their respective schools and ensure they are aware of any internal deadlines for submitting required work.
