IIT Bombay released the UCEED and CEED 2026 Part A cut-off scores on February 5. These scores determine eligibility for Part B evaluations in BDes and MDes admissions. The overall cut-off, combining Part A and Part B, will be announced during seat allotment.
UCEED and CEED 2026 Performance Data
For CEED 2026, the mean Part A score was 39.35 with a standard deviation of 16.89. UCEED 2026 saw a mean Part A score of 70.86, with a standard deviation of 25.77. These figures are used to set qualifying cut-offs for ranking and admission.
This year’s performance shows a shift from 2025. CEED Part A last year had a mean of 45.48 and a standard deviation of 16.98. UCEED’s mean score in 2025 was 61.50, with a standard deviation of 25.69.
Admission Eligibility
Candidates scoring above the released cut-offs advance to the next admission stages and counselling. Final answer keys for both exams were issued on January 28, 2026. CEED 2026 results are due March 4, and UCEED 2026 results on March 6.
