The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2026 registration opens February 12. The exam is for admission to MBA and MCA programs for the 2026-27 academic year. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) announced the dates. Mahatma Gandhi University will conduct the exam.
Exam Schedule and Location
The TS ICET 2026 exam will be a computer-based test (CBT). It is scheduled for May 13 and 14. The exam will run in three sessions. The first day will have two sessions. The second day will have one session.
Eligibility Requirements
TS ICET is required for MBA and MCA admissions at 10 universities in Telangana. This includes Osmania University and JNTU Hyderabad. Applicants must be Indian citizens. They must meet Telangana’s local or non-local status rules.
MBA Eligibility
For MBA admission, candidates need a three-year bachelor’s degree. They must achieve 50% marks. Reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) need 45% marks.
MCA Eligibility
For MCA admission, candidates must have passed BCA, BSc, BCom, or BA. Mathematics must be a subject at Class 12 or graduation level. Degrees from distance learning must be UGC or AICTE recognized.
Key Dates and Fees
The TS ICET 2026 exam carries 200 marks. A qualifying cut-off of 25% (50 marks) is set. There is no minimum for SC and ST candidates.

General category candidates pay Rs 750. Reserved category candidates pay Rs 550.
Penalties for Impersonation
Impersonation during the exam carries severe penalties. This includes imprisonment from 3 to 7 years. Fines range from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000. Candidates should be aware of these regulations.
