BHIND, Madhya Pradesh – A government school teacher, Ramendra Singh Kushwaha , was arrested on Thursday in Bhind district. Police apprehended Kushwaha for allegedly showing obscene videos to girl students and inappropriate touching. He faces serious charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Allegations and Initial Complaints
Three students formally lodged complaints against Kushwaha at the Dehat police station. Kotwali Police Station House Officer (SHO) Mukesh Shakya confirmed the arrest to reporters. Shakya stated Kushwaha is accused of showing pornographic videos to girls during class hours. He also allegedly engaged in “objectionable acts” with the students.
The students reported that Kushwaha threatened them. He warned them against informing their parents. This intimidation caused students to fear attending school. Their prolonged absence eventually raised suspicion among their families. Upon questioning, the girls confided in their families about the alleged misconduct, SHO Shakya added.
