Symbiosis SET, SITEEE 2026 Admissions: Key Dates & Eligibility

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has opened registrations for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) 2026. These tests lead to admission for various undergraduate programs, including BTech, BBA, and BSc. Students can register through the official website,set-test.org.

The application window for both SET and SITEEE 2026 closes on April 15 . The university will admit students to programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Technology (BTech).

Application Fee and Attempts

The registration fee for SET and SITEEE 2026 is Rs 2,250 per test. Additionally, an application fee of Rs 1,000 applies for each program a candidate selects. Payments can be made online through the website or via a Demand Draft. The Demand Draft must be made payable to “Symbiosis Test Secretariat.”

Candidates can choose to attempt the entrance test up to two times. If a candidate takes the test twice, the higher score achieved across the two attempts will be considered for percentile calculation during admissions.

Eligibility Criteria

For SET 2026: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. A minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade is required. A concession applies for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, who require a minimum of 45% marks.

For SITEEE 2026: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, candidates must have studied one subject from the following list: Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.

Examination Structure

SET 2026 Assessment: Candidates appearing for SET 2026 will be evaluated on four sections:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • Analytical and Logical Reasoning

SITEEE 2026 Assessment: Those opting for SITEEE 2026 will be assessed on their knowledge in three core subjects:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics

Both SET and SITEEE examinations consist of 60 objective-type questions. The questions are distributed across three to four sections. No negative marking applies for incorrect answers in either test. This policy aims to provide a fair assessment process for all candidates.
