The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has set exam dates for its Junior Engineer (JE) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 Paper 2 exams. The SSC JE 2025 Paper 2 is scheduled for April 7 . The SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 exam will take place on April 10 .
SSC JE 2025 Paper 2 Details
The SSC JE Paper 2 is an objective test. It comprises three parts and a total of 100 questions. Candidates can score a maximum of 300 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
The commission recently announced the SSC JE 2026 Paper 1 results. A total of 15,607 candidates qualified for Paper 2. Of these, 11,593 candidates will appear for the Civil Engineering section. Another 4,014 candidates will take the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering sections.
The SSC JE 2026 Paper 1 exam was a Computer-Based Test. It occurred from December 3 to 6, and again on December 13, across multiple locations nationwide.
SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 Details
For the SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 exam, over 39,000 candidates have been shortlisted. More than 11 lakh candidates took the SSC CHSL 2025 exam. This exam is for candidates who have passed Class 12. It leads to Group C non-gazetted government jobs.
The SSC JE exam recruits for Group ‘B’ non-gazetted positions. These roles are in various Indian government ministries and departments.
