SSC JE 2026 Paper 1 Results Declared; 15,607 Shortlisted

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the 2026 Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Paper 1 results. A total of 15,607 candidates have qualified for Paper 2. The results and cutoffs are now available on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

Two candidate results were withheld. Of the successful candidates, 11,593 will proceed to the Civil Engineering Paper 2. The remaining 4,014 candidates qualified for the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Paper 2.

Exam Details and Timeline

The SSC JE 2026 exam took place in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Examinations were conducted across multiple shifts from December 3 to December 6, and again on December 13. These tests were held at various centers nationwide.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 1 were set as follows:

  • 60 marks for Unreserved (UR) category (30% of total marks).
  • 50 marks for Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories (25% of total marks).
  • 40 marks for all other categories (20% of total marks).

Answer Key and Result Processing

The SSC processed Paper 1 results using final answer keys. Candidates’ representations on provisional answer keys were reviewed. Revised answer keys were issued where necessary. The final answer keys, question papers, and response sheets will be uploaded to the SSC website soon. Marks for all candidates, qualified or not, will also be made available.
