SRM University of Science and Technology has commenced registration for the SRM Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2026. The SRMJEEE 2026 examination will occur in three distinct phases. Phase 1 takes place from April 23 to 28. Phase 2 is set for June 10 to 15. The final Phase 3 exams will be held from July 4 to 5.
SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for SRMJEEE 2026, applicants must meet specific academic and age requirements. Candidates must have passed their Class 12 examination in the current academic year from any recognized board. A minimum aggregate score of 60% is mandatory across three subjects. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.
Additionally, candidates must choose at least one subject from the following list: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, Botany, or Zoology. This third subject must be a major subject.
Applicants must also meet the age criterion. Students should be at least 16 years and 6 months old by July 31 of the calendar year in which their Class 12 examination is conducted. Candidates with a gap year exceeding three years after completing their 10+2 education are not eligible for admission.
SRMJEEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The SRM Engineering Entrance Examination 2026 has a duration of two and a half hours. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam pattern, which saw an increase in questions last year, remains consistent for 2026. Last year, the number of questions increased from 125 to 130, and the English and Aptitude sections were merged.
